Walking in Circls
FullCircl is taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Cancer Research UK
On 22nd September 2023 a team of 20 adventurers from FullCircl will take on the infamous Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge - one of the original mountain challenge walks in the UK. With a target of completing the 24 miles course in under 12 hours, the challenge will see the team ascend a total of 5,200 ft scaling Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, all part of the Pennine range.
The FullCircl team will set off at 7.30am on this epic one-day adventure across a variety of terrain that will truly test their powers of collaboration and endurance. They will of course be rewarded by wonderful views of the Ribble Valley, a sense of personal achievement, and the knowledge that they have raised money for such an important cause.
This isn't the first time that a group of walkers from FullCircl has faced a challenge like this. For those who have been following our journey, you may recall that in 2019, a team of 8 individuals embarked on the Three Peaks Challenge. The 24 hour challenge saw the team climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and finishing on the top of Snowdon.
During our previous expedition, we managed to raise an impressive £3,000 for our chosen charity, Mind. Do you think we can beat our record this time around?
